Charlamagne ‘Shocked’ That Trump Agreed to Kamala Harris’s Debate Terms: ‘She’ll Dog Walk Him’

Charlamagne tha God was surprised to hear that former President Donald Trump had agreed to Vice President Kamala Harris’s terms for their upcoming debate.

Trump on Tuesday announced that both he and Harris had agreed to a presidential debate on Sept. 10. The debate will be hosted by ABC with the same rules in place during Trump and President Joe Biden’s CNN debate.

Harris’s campaign later stated her preference that the microphones be live at all times as opposed to muting a candidate’s mic when the other person is speaking. Though Trump’s campaign made it clear that their preference was no hot mics, Trump later said he was fine with mics on or off.

Charlamagne thinks that’s a mistake.

“Vice President Kamala Harris is not Joe Biden,” he said on Wednesday’s episode of The Breakfast Club , “and I’m actually kinda shocked that Donald Trump agreed to all of the rules because I thought that he would want a hot mic. Remember, that was the whole debate, that he would want a hot mic, because I would think he would want a hot mic just because — in just a straight-up debate, the vice president would would dog walk Donald Trump. She’ll dog walk him about policy and all that type of stuff; but with the hot mic open, he’ll attempt to over-talk her and interrupt her and insult her.”
