Fox News journalist Bret Baier’s poll report imploded host Jesse Watters’s claim that Vice President Kamala Harris had experienced a “terrible” week following the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

During Wednesday’s episode of The Five , Watters blasted Harris and claimed that the Democratic nominee was flailing in the polls as a result, suggesting she had received “no bounce” in support following the DNC.

Co-host Jessica Tarlov immediately challenged Watters, pointing out that Harris had actually gained ground.

“That’s not true, she got a four-point bounce and she’s in Georgia today campaigning,” she said, referencing a post-convention poll that placed Harris ahead of former President Donald Trump.

Watters, however, doubled down: “OK, she had no bounce. And she’s now down in all the battleground states.”

Tarlov pushed back again, urging the host to “check it out” on RealClearPolitics , maintaining that Harris was not trailing in all key states.

The reality of Watters’ claim unraveled less than an hour later.

During a special report, Baier revealed the network’s latest polling data, which directly contradicted Watters. According to Baier, Harris was leading Trump not only in Michigan and Wisconsin, as Tarlov suggested, but also in Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada.

Trump later attacked the polling figures, accusing the network of having an “awful track record” on polling.
