OOF! Trump Ally RFK Jr. Says He Lost the Debate: ‘Vice President Harris Clearly Won’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. offered a blunt assessment of former President Donald Trump’s performance on Tuesday night by declaring Vice President Kamala Harris the winner.

Harris and Trump sparred for more than 90 minutes, during which time the vice president successfully baited the former president into airing personal grievances. At one point Trump even promoted a baseless rumor about Haitian migrants in Ohio stealing pets and eating them. While the former president insisted he had a great night, some conservatives panned the performance.

Kennedy challenged President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination, but became frustrated when Biden refused to debate. The political scion abandoned that endeavor and launched an ill-fated independent bid for president, which he suspended before endorsing Trump, who has pledged to put Kennedy on his transition team if he wins.

Appearing on Wednesday’s Your World , Kennedy told host Neil Cavuto that Harris was the obvious winner.

“I think that Vice President Harris clearly won the debate in terms of her delivery, her polish, her organization, and her preparation,” Kennedy declared. “I think on substance, President Trump wins in terms of his governance, but he didn’t tell that story. In fact, the first question was an extraordinary lost opportunity because it was a question… which is, are Americans better off four years later? And there’s really no argument for saying that they are.”

Kennedy went on to blame the Biden-Harris administration for higher costs, rising suicide rates, rising overdose rates, and the wars in Ukraine and Gaza.

“And all of these things can be attributed to the poor leadership from the Biden-Harris team,” he added. “And that’s the argument he should’ve been making. But he got distracted and I think it’s unfortunate because I think he really had an airtight argument for his presidency. But he was not able to make that case to the American public.”
