Trump Complains the ‘MEDEA’ Isn’t Reporting That Harris ‘NEVER WORKED AT MCDONALDS’

As rally-goers in Las Vegas were eagerly awaiting Donald Trump’s speech on Friday night, the tardy former president was tending to other matters.

About 35 minutes after his rally was to begin, Trump took to Truth Social to slam the mainstream press for not covering what he seems to believe is an important issue: Vice President Kamala Harris’s work history – specifically, whether she really worked at McDonald’s as she once claimed.

The ex-president has accused Harris of lying about working at the fast food restaurant. The vice president has said she briefly worked at the joint during college in the early 1980s. Conservatives who attempted to track down a record of her employment there came up empty, and so they automatically concluded that Harris is lying about working there.

In attacking Harris on Friday night, Trump used his preferred nickname for the vice president and ripped the “MEDEA” for not covering the matter.

“Comrade Kamala Harris NEVER WORKED AT McDONALDS – A TOTAL LIE. LAMESTREAM MEDEA REFUSES TO REPORT THIS FACT,” he wrote. “ABC FAKE NEWS IS A LOSER!”

Trump’s inclusion of ABC News likely has to do with the fact that Trump debated Harris on the network on Tuesday. Republicans blasted the moderators for fact-checking the former president, who told outrageous falsehoods. At one point he claimed immigrants are stealing pets and eating them. Elsewhere, he alleged that some states allow for the execution of babies. He also falsely claimed that “everyone” wanted Roe v. Wade overturned. And of course, he once again falsely maintained that the 2020 election was rigged against him.

A CNN fact check concluded that Trump told 33 falsehoods to Harris’s one.

Amid the criticism of ABC’s moderators, CNN’s Abby Phillip tweeted, “Just fyi: when there is asymmetrical lying, there will be asymmetrical fact checking.”
