Gutfeld Applauds Biden Landing ‘Sick Burn’ on Harris: ‘Maybe He’s Not So Demented After All’

Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld tipped his hat to President Joe Biden for landing what he called a “sick burn” on Vice President Kamala Harris .

On Friday’s Gutfeld! , Gutfeld accused media outlets of not pressing Harris hard enough on specific policy plans as the candidate has been selective with her interviews. She recently spoke with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle , who defended the vice president for talking in “platitudes” after the sit-down on the economy.

“You’ve got a candidate in Harris who says nothing and means even less and you’ve got Trump, who will say whatever he wants, but tells you exactly what he thinks, take it or leave it. For a media that demands transparency, it’s the biggest hypocrisy of all,” Gutfeld said.

The Fox News host argued Biden did Harris’s campaign no favors with a recent appearance on The View where he closely tied the vice president to his policy decisions regarding the exit of Afghanistan and the southern border.

“They pick the candidate who won’t reveal her plans perhaps because they know how bad they could be, right Joe?” Gutfeld said.

He then cut to a clip of Biden on The View praising Harris.

“As vice president, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do, and so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy,” the president said .

Emphasizing how instrumental she is in the current administration while her campaign emphasizes “turning the page” and a fresh administration obviously works against her, Gutfeld argued, questioning briefly if Biden’s words were chosen more carefully than his critics would think.

“That’s what you call a sick burn. As the Harris campaign tries to find daylight between their crummy candidate and the past four years of hell, Joe says, hold on, kids, she was with me every step of the way from Afghanistan to the border,” Gutfeld said. “Maybe he’s not so demented after all.”
