CNN anchor Brianna Keilar and special correspondent Jamie Gangel struggled on Tuesday to report some details from Bob Woodward’s new book, especially President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala’s Harris’s love of curse words.

Woodward’s explosive new book contains behind the scenes reporting on Biden, Harris, and former President Donald Trump . There have been multiple major revelations from the book, including reporting that Trump sent Covid tests to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the height of the pandemic and that they’ve been in contact since Trump left office. Trump’s team has dismissed the reporting as false.

Gangel reported on an interaction between Biden and his son Hunter Biden , in which the president reportedly expressed regret over appointing Attorney General Merrick Garland due to his son’s legal troubles.

    Gangel reported:

“So there are scenes in the book and Woodward’s reporting is based on documents, transcripts, firsthand conversations, and there is a scene in the book in which Hunter talks to his father about his legal troubles, thinks they’re never going to go away. But I think the thing that will get most attention is notably there is a moment where President Biden says, he regrets picking Merrick Garland as his attorney general. He says, quote, should never have picked Garland. This is never going to f-ing go away. So whereas Biden has really kept hands off publicly from the Justice Department as we’ve seen with all of the cases, this is how he really feels behind the scenes.”

Gangel needed an assist from Keilar when she had to report on more curse words not suited for cable news.

According to Woodward’s book, Harris was speaking to a friend of Biden’s after the president dropped his reelection campaign and the friend suggested Harris talk to him more as the president was reportedly feeling “isolated.”

“And then Vice President Harris says to the friend that might be the only reason that he still really is comfortable with me to a point because he knows that I’m the only person around who knows how to properly pronounce the word, and I don’t even know how to shorten that, but mother —” Gangel began.

    “Mother-effer!” Keilar offered, laughing.

“Mother-effer, there we go,” Gangel said. “Clearly she says it better than I do.”

“I was helpful in some regard,” Keilar said.

Sweetly say, “ Trump has weakened our national safety, international standing, all to enrich himself” and some folks still say they vote for him!!!
