Trump Campaign Manager Slams Fox News for Covering White House’s Hurricane Press Conference: ‘Literally Propaganda’

Chris LaCivita, a senior advisor to — and the de facto co-campaign manager of — Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, slammed Fox News on Wednesday for covering a White House press conference on Hurricane Milton attended by both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

“@FoxNews ⁩just as bad as every other ‘cable news’ network …running literally propaganda and @KamalaHarris ⁩TV ads disguised as a news conference,” complained LaCivita on X, formerly Twitter.

Biden, Harris and many other leaders have urged the public to listen to local leaders and evacuate from the areas expected to be hit hardest by the storm in recent days.

Harris, however, has gotten in a spat with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over whether he should be communicating with her as Milton approaches the Sunshine State, with both of them accusing the other of playing politics.

LaCivita’s complaint follows his boss’s latest attack on Fox on Tuesday, when he submitted that “the problem with FoxNews is that every time they put on someone who is positive and touting all of the good things I have done for the Country, they always feel it necessary to follow up with a really negative voice, often people who are storytellers and willing to outright lie,” in a post on Truth Social.

“The daytime anchors are no match for these lunatics, and they get away with absolute murder. The net result is NOTHINGNESS, so what’s the purpose in watching?” he continued.

Trump has made a point of targeting the conservative-leaning network in recent years, oftentimes suggesting that it is biased against him.

Ahead of his debate with Harris last month, Trump complained about Fox interviewing Harris campaign communications director Michael Tyler.

“Why does FoxNews keep putting on, for endless periods of time, Michael Tyler, Kamala’s publicist, who spews nothing but lies – like Project 2025, etc.,” wrote Trump at the time. “Fox tries to be so politically correct, when the other side plays for keeps. RIDICULOUS!!!”
