Meghan McCain Threatens to Reveal What Her Dad ‘ACTUALLY’ Thought About Harris If Dems Continue to ‘Bastardize His Memory’

Meghan McCain threatened to divulge what her late father really thought of Vice President Kamala Harris Friday night, citing her annoyance with Democrats who were attempting to “bastardize his memory” to score political points.

McCain’s comments came after Harris celebrated the late senator while at a campaign event in John McCain’s native Arizona earlier Friday.

The daughter of the veteran former lawmaker and 2008 Republican presidential nominee – who has been critical of former President Donald Trump for years – threatened to come down on Democrats in a pair of posts on her X account.

“Now, I know democrats want to reinvent history and turn my Dad into any illusion you guys need him to be depending on the political moment you need to bastardize his memory for,” she wrote on X. “But please don’t make me start sharing what I remember him ACTUALLY saying about Kamala Harris….”

In another post, McCain wrote, “And consider this my final warning shot, I will start spilling tea.”

While campaigning in Scottsdale on Friday afternoon, Harris shared an anecdote about an encounter with former Senator McCain before his 2018 death. She said :

And then I step onto the floor of the well of the Senate later that day — we had votes — and I passed by John McCain, and he looks at me and he says, “Kid, come over here. You’re going to make a great senator.” True story.  True story.  True story.

That was John McCain.  That was John McCain.  I was talking about him last night at a rally, right? John McCain, who — you know, we didn’t agree on everything, but, man, I mean, what about an incredible American hero?  Again, strength — strength — right? — we know what the former president said about John McCain; I’m not going to repeat it here — but strength.

In July 2015, Trump sparked outrage when he attacked McCain’s years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam while firing back at the former naval aviator.

After claiming McCain was only celebrated as a “war hero because he was captured” by the enemy, Trump said , “I like people who weren’t captured.”
