Mark Cuban Claps In Kevin O’Leary’s Ear After Joy Behar Reminds The View’s Audience That He Supports Kamala Harris

Three of Shark Tank ‘s co-hosts were the guests on ABC’s The View on Wednesday, and one of them was all too happy to discuss politics while another stayed mum.

Mark Cuban has been vocal about his support of Vice President Kamala Harris as well as his opposition to former President Donald Trump . When View co-host Joy Behar turned the conversation to politics, she brought up Cuban’s leanings, which were clearly shared by the studio audience. As they applauded, Cuban applauded — right into Shark Tank co-host Kevin O’Leary’s ear.

O’Leary has expressed opinions either supportive of or sympathetic to Trump on several occasions, including questioning the criminality of fraud after Trump’s civil fraud trial and endorsing his tax plans .

And while O’Leary didn’t discuss his politics with the panel, Cuban took a question from Behar, who asked about the gender divide between the candidates:

Behar: Let’s just talk about this massive gender divide that we keep hearing about. I think there’s a lot of misogyny out there. I would say if she were a man, she would be like, he’d have 10 percent and she’d have 90. So, what’s your thoughts?

Cuban: I think it’s driven by social media. I think that algorithms kind of give you more of what you’ve already seen. And for men, I’ve got three teenagers, and my son and their friends. You know, it starts with sports and then it’s something aggressive. Then it turns into Donald Trump saying this, this, this, and this. Like, I went and did a podcast and the host was, who was a Trump fan? I’m like, “Why do you support him?” He was like, “He’s gangsta.” I’m like, “You want a gangster for president?”

He added:

Just the way the algorithms in social media work, whether it’s YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, whatever it is, they give you more of the same, and it just reinforces it. And we live in, you know, kids in particular, they live in a meme generation. And that’s what they see all the time, and that’s what’s reinforcing it. And it’s not like they’re going out there, “Well, let me just confirm that what I’m seeing is actually the facts are true.”
