‘Weinstein Got Schlonged’: Trump ‘Amazed’ Disgraced Hollywood Mogul ‘Got Hit As Hard As You Can Get Hit’ Over Rape Cases

Former President Donald Trump was surprised to see how much blowback disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein received after being accused by dozens of women of rape, sexual harassment, and sexual assault.

A flood of accusations against Weinstein spanning decades came to light in 2017. The once-acclaimed producer been incarcerated and embroiled in legal battles ever since. Weinstein has been condemned by numerous prominent Hollywood figures, including some who often worked with him. The Miramax co-founder was convicted in 2020 of criminal sexual assault in the first degree and rape in the third degree, based on testimony from two women. That conviction was overturned in May and a new trial has been ordered.

Weinstein was also convicted of one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault in a Los Angeles. He is appealing that verdict.

The clip was posted to social media by Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign rapid response.

During an appearance on Dan Bongino’s podcast, Trump noted that he was surprised Weinstein wasn’t more protected from blowback and that he was so quickly condemned considering how prominent a figure he was in Hollywood and in the Democratic Party as a donor .

Trump said:

“Democrats don’t have to be honest. They really don’t have to be honest because they will never be accused of anything. It’s interesting. I was so amazed that Harvey Weinstein got schlonged, got hit as hard as you can get hit because he was sort of king of the woke, right? And yet he got hit, and I figured that maybe he wouldn’t get hit so hard, but did he get — you don’t know him, I don’t know him well, but I watched that and it was amazing. So when they do get hit, they get hit. But that’s the only one I can think of. Normally, they protect everybody.”

Trump then went on to say he thought the prosecution of New York City Mayor Eric Adams was “suspect.”

Trump told reporters in 2017 that he was not surprised by the allegations against Weinstein. Many of Weinstein’s allegations including pressuring women to perform sexual acts in exchange for parts. Multiple women accused him of assault and rape.

“I’ve known Harvey Weinstein for a long time. I’m not at all surprised to see it,” Trump said .
