Netanyahu Declares Nothing Will ‘Deter’ Him After Private Residence Targeted By Drone

Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video to social media in which he declared nothing will deter his fight against the “terrorist proxies” of Iran following his office announcing a UAV was “launched towards” his home.

Netanyahu’s office announced that on Saturday Netanyahu’s private residence in the costal town of Caesarea was targeted by a drone. There were no injuries and neither Netanyahu or his wife were home. The Israeli Defense Forces announced early on Saturday that there were a number of drones fired at Israel from Lebanon. A spokesperson for IDF said at least one death was the result of dozens of rockets fired into Israel. This strike followed more than a dozen more deaths in Gaza from Israel’s strikes.

Israel’s strikes on Gaza have led to tens of thousands of civilian deaths, according to the territory’s health ministry. Netanyahu has long said that Israel will not stop until the terror group Hamas is eliminated after an Oct. 7 attack in which more than 1,000 were killed in Israel and hundreds were kidnapped.

Netanyahu posted a pair of videos to social media, one in English and the other in Hebrew. In them, he references the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and says nothing will deter him from winning the war. In the video, he is walking through a park while someone asks him questions from behind the camera.

“Prime minister, how is it going?”

“Well, two days ago we took out Yahya Sinwar, the terrorist mastermind whose goons beheaded our men, raped our women, and burned babies alive. We took him out and we’re continuing our battle with Iran’s other terrorist proxies. We’re going to win this war.”

“So will something deter you?”

“No.”

In one of the videos, Netanyahu also said he’s “proud” of Israel’s soldiers and citizens.

“I want to say something else, I’m proud of our soldiers, I’m proud of our commanders, and I’m proud of you, the citizens of Israel,” he said.
