I had stage 3b CRC. My oncologist made the wise decision to go with chemo first because he was worried about it spreading to other areas. By the time I finished chemo 4 months later my tumor had shrunk from the size of a golf ball to the size of a half of a grape. I was lucky. I've been cancer free for over a year now.
