Polynesian Hall Of Fame Selects Cowboy For Watch List
The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame has announced its 2024 Watch List for the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award and two Wyoming Cowboys have been named to the list. Linebacker Shae Suiaunoa and center Nofoafia Tulafono are both among this year’s candidates for the second-straight season.
Riverton Saturday Events Listed: 5K Pink Ribbon Run; Town Trash Pickup; Wyoming Fire Service HOF & Memorial
Events this Saturday include the Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative’s Pink Ribbon 5K run/walk at the Riverton SageWest Hospital campus with registration and check in at 7 a.m. with a special survivor’s breakfast, presentations and then the beginning of the race at 8 a.m. There will be information tables, swag, kid games and music at the event.
Lander Community Foundation’s Challenge for Charities has another record-breaking year for 2024
In another record-breaking year, Challengers and donors contributed an astounding $842,602 to the 14th annual Challenge for Charities (C4C) community-wide fundraiser. Lander nonprofits raised a whopping $641,753. The 117 Challengers surpassed our ambitious goal of $200,000 and contributed $200,849 to the Matching Fund. Over $3.6 Million of the almost $7 Million has been raised since 2020.

Soccer Commences 2024 Season with 0-0 Draw at Washington
SEATTLE, Washington – The University of Wyoming soccer team opened the 2024 regular season Thursday. The Cowgirls battled Washington to a 0-0 draw at Husky Stadium. “This was another quality road opponent that tested us,” head coach Josh Purdum said. “They were very physical, well sized and very athletic.
