Fashion show to benefit American Cancer Society slated for Sept. 8
AKRON — The latest fashions will be featured at two resale runway shows, Sept. 8 at 1 and 4 p.m. next to the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, 1700 W. Market St. The shows will highlight resale items that have been donated by the community. Guests will enjoy refreshments, a silent auction, a chance auction and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $20 each and each guest will receive a $10 gift card for a future shopping experience at the Discovery Shop. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society through the sale of high quality, gently used, donated merchandise including clothing, accessories, jewelry, artwork, antiques, collectibles and other household items.
