Body found at Mirror Lake identified as Colorado man
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Albany County Sheriff’s Office identified the body found at Mirror Lake on July 4 as James Bitner, 56, of Blackhawk, Colorado. Deputies received a report of a deceased individual near Mirror Lake around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, they confirmed the presence of a deceased person, initially referred to as “John Doe.”
Meet this year’s Red Desert Rodeo Royalty
The Red Desert Roundup Rodeo will take over the Sweetwater Events Complex Grandstand Arena this Friday and Saturday night, July 26 and 27. Helping to oversee the festivities will be this year’s rodeo royalty. They are Junior Princess Ashten Folks, and Junior Princess 1st Attendant is Kennedy Kleinlein.
