Most of us are aware of the concept of “spring cleaning” — using the change from the dreary winter to a warm and inviting season as a springboard (apologies for that pun) to clear out clutter and make our homes and personal spaces neater and more vibrant. In my home, “spring cleaning” has turned into “summer straightening” and looks to be full steam ahead to “fall flinging.” The steady progress is encouraging and makes the task of true change seem far less daunting or challenging. It helps to feel like tasks are being accomplished and that I’m not going to “fall short” (I think that’s my last seasonal pun!).
