Jonesboro Man Accidentally Shoots Himself
JONESBORO, Ark. – An accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound sent a young man to the hospital this week in Jonesboro. It happened around 9:45 AM on July 2, 2024 on Richsmith Lane. Initially, police were responding believing the incident to be a suicide attempt. The girlfriend of the victim had made the 911 call, but was out of the county, which caused some of the confusion.
