Police: Robbery charges sought in Yorktown High School incident
On July 11 at 8 a.m., an individual attempted to steal another individual’s personal property by force during an incident at Yorktown High School, Arlington police said. Security personnel intervened, police said. No injuries were reported. A petition was obtained for robbery for the juvenile suspect.

According to USGS, at 5:44 am on Saturday morning, a magnitude 2.2 earthquake struck from a depth of 5.9 km near Sparta, North Carolina. NORFOLK, Va. — A popular Norfolk restaurant will soon shut down for good. Sam's Texas Sub Shop plans to close permanently by the end of August. "Please continue to support our neighbors at Cogan's Pizza, Hank's Filling Station and Craft as well as all of our local businesses in the area or wherever you live," the owners posted on social media announcing the closure. "It's tough for many these days."
