Two-vehicle crash leaves one dead
DELMAR, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle accident the left one man dead and others injured Friday night. Around 9:30pm, a 1996 Subaru Outback was traveling south on Providence Church Road. The Subaru failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Providence Church Road and Delmar Road, entering the westbound lane of Delmar Road.

VA Senators announce $625,000 to reduce youth substance use
HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced on July 12th, $625,000 for community-based coalitions in Harrisonburg, Roanoke, Ashland, Rocky Mount, and Luray to reduce youth substance use. The funding was awarded through the Office of National Drug Control Policy’s Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program.
