In her role as chief operating officer for Melville-based EGC Group, Lara Bass works with the full-service integrated marketing agency’s team of 50-plus employees to create innovative, effective marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve and exceed clients’ business goals.

Bass joined EGC Group in 2015 as director of client services. Account service comes naturally to Bass, who has spent her entire career in account management.

Prior to joining EGC Group, Bass worked in account management at several Manhattan agencies. Throughout her career in client service, her primary goal has been to delight clients while highlighting their best attributes. Advertising is a relationship business, which makes it a great fit for a people person like Bass, who connects with her clients personally and strives to fully understand their business. She believes a good working relationship and open lines of communication are the basis for a successful partnership, and what excites her and motivates her most is the prospect of helping clients succeed.

Last year was a special year for Bass. She was named Employee of the Year at EGC Group and was promoted to chief operating officer. She was also recognized by Blank Slate Media as a Nassau County Woman of Distinction.

Bass attended the University of Michigan, where she is proud to see her daughter following in her footsteps. Outside of work, Bass enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and two daughters, who keep her grounded, constantly entertained and smiling.
