EAST LYNN — The National Weather Service has determined that an EF-1 tornado touched down three miles south of East Lynn in northern Vermilion County last Wednesday morning when a line of storms moved through the area. The weather service and the Vermilion County Emergency Management Agency said seven grain bins and two power poles, along with the roof of an outbuilding, were damaged when the tornado touched down just before 8:30 a.m., remaining on the ground for 1.3 miles with estimated wind speeds of 95 mph.

Krause’s final four pitching outings in the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final Four, and the State Title game were all shutout performances.
