Students get ready for school with backpack giveaway in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- School is just a few days away for many districts and it's not too late for students to have everything they need for a good start. A backpack giveaway took place on Saturday afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood. Rhonda, who goes by "Miss Winkie," does back to school drives to honor her son who was murdered six years ago.
