An upscale Vietnamese-inspired restaurant and bar is coming to Crosstown Concourse in Midtown .

The eatery—its name is under wraps for now—will take over the site of Wolf River Brisket Co. at 1350 Concourse Ave , Suite 165 . Wolf River Brisket Co.’s final day of service was last Sunday, May 19, 2024 .

Established by Karina Pham and her family, the new restaurant will offer a sophisticated take on Vietnamese cuisine. While Greater Memphis is home to many Vietnamese restaurants, the concept of refined, high-end Vietnamese fare will be a new addition to the area.

Pham’s family has deep roots in the Memphis community. Beyond their upcoming venture, they own Viet Hoa Market on N Cleveland St, Chùa Chánh Tâm Buddhist Temple on Jefferson Ave, and Mochi & Mi in both Southaven and inside the Rio Grande Market on Summer Ave.

With elegant décor and meticulously crafted dishes, Pham’s family envisions the restaurant as a place where people can come to enjoy not only exquisite food but also a warm and welcoming ambiance. Pham’s daughter, Margaret Tong , told What Now Memphis that she hopes the new eatery will become a premier dining destination for special occasions, including date nights and family celebrations.

Tong believes that by combining their culinary expertise with a deep-rooted love for the community, her family can offer a unique and unparalleled cultural experience in Midtown.

If all goes according to plan, the new restaurant will open before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more details as this exciting development unfolds at Crosstown Concourse.
