Health-Centric Cafe Expanding to Oakhaven

Last year, What Now Memphis reported on plans for a new cafe by local chef Carolyn Rudgley , although a location had not yet been finalized. Now, it has been confirmed that Your Personal Chef will soon be opening its doors in Oakhaven at 3715 Hickory Hill Rd .

With over two decades of experience in the food industry, Carolyn understands the importance of crafting wholesome, delicious meals from scratch. Her commitment to inclusivity ensures that Your Personal Chef will cater to every dietary restriction, providing a welcoming dining experience for all.

In addition to classic cafe offerings such as coffee, soup, and baked goods, Carolyn plans to feature smoothies, take-and-bake meals, and gourmet lunch boxes at the new cafe. Each dish will showcase locally sourced, high-quality ingredients, reflecting Carolyn’s dedication to healthier, elevated comfort cuisine.

Carolyn opened the original Your Personal Chef location inside Germantown’s West Cancer Center just a couple of months ago. Alongside her cafes, the busy chef hosts cooking classes , runs a popular food truck, offers weekly meal preps , and operates Carol’s Catered Events , providing professional catering services for special occasions and gatherings.

Carolyn told What Now Memphis that she’s planning to set up the new space soon, though an opening date hasn’t been set. Meanwhile, locals can enjoy the Germantown Your Personal Chef, open from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and until 2 p.m. on Fridays.
