Heat and humidity across the Mid-South this weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Happy Saturday it is getting hotter booooo!!!

Temperatures are back to seasonal averages in the low 90s but thankfully the humidity is staying at bay. Feel likes will hover right around the actual temperatures all week.

By Tuesday we are forecast to hit 100° the last time we did was exactly one year ago today. So, by Tuesday that makes 368 days since the last time.

We could see the need for some heat alerts midweek for a few areas.

This is all thanks to the strong high pressure setting up and baking us.

By the end of the week temperatures will begin to fall and some rain will finally make an appearance. We should be much more comfortable temperature wise rolling into the holiday weekend.
