Cooler temps, spotty showers remain as heat relief continues across the Mid-South

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - We are tracking rain chances over the next 7 days. Highs will be lower than previous weeks, but rain will be the main factor.

Heavy and widespread rain is not expected, but scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible. No severe weather is expected, but a chance for some heavy downpours and some lightning is possible. Rain chances will stick with us each day as we head over the next week. Heavy widespread rain is not expected to plague the Mid-South. Highs will be near or below the average of 92 degrees over the next 2 weeks. This means that no high heat and humidity will be seen, thankfully, a good break from all the heat is on the way!
