The NBA Summer League draws to a close Monday evening, when the Grizzlies and Heat battle in the Vegas Summer League championship game.

Both teams are undefeated in Vegas, with records of 5-0.

Zach Edey, Memphis' first-round pick in June's NBA Draft, will miss the championship game with an ankle sprain. But the Grizzlies played well in Edey's absence on Sunday, outlasting the Clippers for a 99-98 semifinal victory.

Scotty Pippen Jr. tallied a 23-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist triple-double, while Jaylen Wells (28 points) and GG Jackson II (20 points) contributed strong performances.

The Heat ousted the Warriors, 102-99, on Sunday to punch their ticket to the championship game. Josh Christopher led Miami with 23 points, while Arizona product Pelle Larsson added 21 points.

First-round draft pick Kel'el Ware has also been a force throughout summer league action, averaging 17.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.

Memphis previously won the Vegas Summer League in 2019, with Brandon Clarke earning MVP honors. Miami has never won the event.
