Dangerous heat to scorch the Mid-South this week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A Heat Advisory will be in effect for the Mid-South between 10 a.m. Monday-4 a.m. Tuesday.

An Excessive Heat Warning will also be in place for the area Tuesday.

Make sure to hydrate and have the sunglasses.

It's a warm and cloudy start to the day.

Temperatures on Monday afternoon are expected to rise into the low 90s across the Mid-South.

Feels-like temperatures over 105.

Rain chance: 10% — mainly moving out this morning.

Winds: 10 mph.
