MEMPHIS, Tenn. - It's HOT and it's HAZY outside!

One more day of dangerous heat across the Mid-South with an Excessive Heat Warning expiring and a Heat Advisory taking over the area Friday when feel like temperatures are between 105 and 109°.

Much of the Mid-South will see a heat index over 100 degrees from noon until 4 p.m. on Friday, August 2.

This as a weak cold front moves through the area bringing a low chance of rain and storms tonight into the early morning hours with a low chance of severe weather along and north of 40.

Saharan Dust arrives to the area as well bringing hazy skies, vibrant sunsets and poor air quality.

As we roll into the weekend you can expect a brief break from the heat alerts, not the heat, before the extreme heat returns in the middle of next week.
