Excessive Heat Warning in place for the Mid-South as hot, humid weather continues

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - An Excessive Heat Warning and a Heat Advisory will be in effect across the Mid-South from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday.

Make sure to practice heat safety.

It's another warm start to the day under a mostly clear sky.

Temperatures on Thursday afternoon are expected to once again climb into the mid-90s across the Mid-South.

Feels-like temperatures up to 110 degrees.

Rain chance: 10%.

Winds: 10 mph.

LOOKING AHEAD: A cold front will bring a slight rain chance overnight at 20%. Low-end severe north of Interstate 40. Temperatures will be in the low- and mid-90s over the next several days with low rain chances.
