Alexy's journey began at the Bernardsville Municipal Pool, where his early promise quickly shone through. At the 2023 NCAA Championships, he qualified for the A final in the 50-yard freestyle, finishing sixth, and played a crucial role in Cal's second-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay.

In 2024, Alexy’s success further solidified with notable performances at the NCAA Championships. He was instrumental in Cal's triumph in the 800 freestyle relay and achieved personal bests, including a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle.
