Fire crews continued to battle the Grange Fire in the Anderson Valley area of Mendocino County on Saturday.

According to Cal Fire's morning report, the fire had burned 90 acres, up from the original estimate of 80 acres. The fire was 55% contained. One structure was destroyed and five were damaged. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Grange Fire was reported on Thursday at 3:38 p.m., near the 9800 block of state Highway 128, in Boonville.

All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted and Highway 128 is open.

Cal Fire said that 150 personnel are responding to the fire from state and local agencies. Crews will continue to mop up the fire area, removing hazard trees and extinguishing hot spots while working towards containment.

The county's public radio station, KZYX, reports that it "suffered catastrophic damage to major pieces of equipment, apparently from a power surge." The station has replacement equipment on order. As a result of the fire, all programming is pre-recorded. KZYX anticipates live programming will return Monday afternoon.
