Woman’s Body Found on Mendocino Coast Months Ago Identified
A woman who was found dead off the Mendocino County coast nearly three months ago has been positively identified. Twenty-nine-year-old Angela Geovanna Carrillo-Paloma was found dead in the ocean south of Fort Bragg on April 26th. She was not carrying an ID and did not have any identifying marks. Carrillo-Paloma was identified using DNA from family. The cause and manner of her death has not been confirmed.
MSCO: Missing woman found dead near home burned in Covelo fire
A woman trying to save her home from a fire in Covelo was likely found dead on the property where the fire began, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to the 94500 block of Mina Road around 2:15 p.m. July 8 to “assist Cal Fire with a … rapidly-moving wildfire with one structure possibly fully involved and one person potentially missing.”
Authorities arrest Point Arena man for homicide
NORTH COAST, Calif. — A Point Arena man has been arrested for a Thursday homicide that was reported to have occurred during an argument. Pan Jasper Brady, 47, was taken into custody for the murder of a 54-year-old male from Annapolis, according to a report from Lt. Andrew Porter of the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office.
