MCSO: Ukiah woman found dead in tent of suspected overdose
A Ukiah woman was found dead in a tent after a suspected overdose, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies were in the Ackerman Creek area east of the 2200 block of North State Street in Ukiah around 1 p.m. June 26 while investigating the “theft of a bicycle from a nearby home.”

On 06-26-2024 at approximately 12:55 P.M., Deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office were in the area of Ackerman Creek (east of the 2200 block of North State Street) in Ukiah conducting an investigation regarding the theft of a bicycle from a nearby home.
