Bison Fall Short as Cougars Claim Victory 3-1 in Women's Soccer
WORCESTER, Mass. (8/31/24)- The Nichols College Women's Soccer team played a competitive match against the Clark Cougars from Granger Field on th campus of Clark University, on Saturday afternoon. The Cougars emerged victorious over the Bison with a final score of 3-1. The Cougars came out hungry and scored their first goal in the first 9 minutes of the match. The early lead put pressure on the Bison, but they responded with resilience. The Bison struck back in the 24th minute, when graduate student and team captain Grace Killman buried her first goal of the season. Killman's goal fired up her teammates, and the Bison fought to keep their momentum for the remainder of the first half.
