Shocking video taken in Nanning, China shows the moment a septic pipe bust, sending human waste exploding over 30 feet into the air and raining down on commuters on a busy highway. And the footage is certainly not for the faint of heart.

The Sun reports that the incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Tuesday at a construction site where newly-laid sewage pipes had just been installed. The rupture was believed to have been caused by engineers conducting a pressure test. Authorities said that no one was injured in the blast, however the eruption was apparently so powerful that a piece of heavy construction equipment reportedly flipped over at the site.

Dashcam footage caught the geyser of excrement, which reportedly exploded 33 feet into the air, and was followed seconds later by yellow-brownish liquid splattering down onto the driver's windshield.

Other video clips show the explosion from other angles, including one in which commuters on motorcycle could be seen driving nearby. There were also unsuspecting pedestrians and cyclists splattered in the mess, who were not fortunate to have the protection of a vehicle.

Although, several vehicles were also said to have sustained damage such as cracked windshields. "I’m drenched in poo, my car is splattered yellow," one driver reportedly complained. "It’s ruined."

Following the explosion, officials rushed to the scene to undergo what must have been pretty extensive clean-up efforts. Local authorities are also reportedly investigating the cause of the explosion to hopefully prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.
