Tuscaloosa Leaders Arrive in Mobile for Annual Benchmarking Trip
Leaders from west Alabama traveled south this weekend and are in Mobile for an annual trip designed to bring good ideas from other cities back to the Tuscaloosa area. The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama has taken these Benchmarking trips since 2017 and have learned from leaders in Greenville, Lexington, Chattanooga, Asheville and Raleigh.

Goldie is a 4-year-old female Chihuahua mix who must be spayed before adoption. She was found as a stray out in the county and no owner came looking for her. Goldie is white with black markings; and she only weighs 9 pounds. She is a friendly little gal who gets along well with other dogs. Stanhope Elmore High School senior punter Colby Beyer recently won a punt competition during a summer camp at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. The competition featured more than 40 punters from around the country.
