The Pennsylvania Attorney General's office and the former owners of the Sharon Regional Medical Center filed Tuesday to have a voice in a potential sale of the Mercer County hospital by bankrupt Steward Health System.<\p> Steward filed for bankruptcy in early May and immediately announced plans to sell its hospitals, including Sharon Regional that it acquired in 2017 from another privately owned company, CHS. Sharon had previously been owned by the Christian H. Buhl Trust. While there have been interest in Sharon there were no qualified bidders and the auction was postponed at the last minute.<\p>
