Latino Civic Alliance to Receive Funding for Violence Prevention
The Washington Department of Commerce has announced $7.6 million in grants to a plethora of community-based violence prevention organizations. These organizations are disproportionately clustered in King, Pierce and Spokane Counties, where firearm violence tends to exert the heaviest toll. Amazon Go Store Opens in Downtown Bellevue
The newest Amazon Go store opens today in Bellevue at 10819 4th St. NE. Hours are 7 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday-Friday. A grand-opening celebration was planned at 8:30 this morning at the 1,400-square-foot store and was scheduled to include a ribbon cutting; remarks by Amazon Go’s regional leader, Michelle Izeppi; and Bellevue Mayor Lynne Robinson. New approach showing through for Mike Macdonald with Seattle Seahawks
RENTON, Wash. - It's just a week into training camp for the Seattle Seahawks, but some of the differences under new head coach Mike Macdonald are starting to become obvious. Macdonald dedicated an entire training camp practice on Wednesday to an expanded walkthrough with players in T-shirts instead of jerseys and pads.
