Flood watch in effect, wet pattern holds for days
HOUSTON (KIAH) – A flood watch is in effect for Houston and Southeast Texas until Wednesday evening as slow-moving downpours could lead to localized flooding. That means some neighborhoods have potential to get a couple inches of rain in an hour or so, which may cause street flooding and rising creeks.

Workforce Solutions Alamo June Report
For the second month in a row, the number of people unemployed has risen in our area and across Texas. The latest data from June 2024 shows a 4.2 percent unemployment rate for the eight-county San Antonio- New Braunfels metropolitan statistical area (MSA). The unemployment rate was 3.5 percent in May and 3.3. percent in April. Statewide unemployment is at 4.5 percent, up from 3.8 percent in May.

Crash on Beauregard Sends One to the Hospital
SAN ANGELO, TX — Law enforcement and emergency services personnel responded to a report of a crash on Wednesday afternoon. At around 3:45 p.m., a white Nissan Murano and a white GMC Sierra collided on W Beauregard near Jefferson St. According to the San Angelo Police Department, the Nissan Murano attempted to turn on to Beauregard heading east out of a parking lot in front of the GMC Sierra who was traveling west.
