East Juniata Grad Helps Lead W&J To National Honor

The Washington & Jefferson College men's soccer team received recognition from the United Soccer Coaches for a sixth-consecutive year and seventh time in the past eight years due to the squad's exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.

The men's soccer program placed nine student-athletes on the 2023 PAC Fall Academic Honor Roll list with at least a 3.60 grade-point average. One of those young men came from our area, Gannon Ryan, an East Juniata grad from McAlisterville!

A midfielder, Gannon is entering his senior season, majoring in Accounting. The Presidents open their regular season on the road at Marietta College on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 3 p.m.
