Continuing education scholarship available thru Clifton Civic Society

The Clifton Civic Improvement Society is offering one (1) $2,000 scholarship for continuing education.

The deadline for requesting an application is Wednesday, April 17, 2024, and deadline for submission is Friday, April 19, 2024.

Women living in the Clifton area or working in Clifton, and having a high school diploma or GED are eligible to apply. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 19, 2024.

Applications can be requested via email, regular postal mail, or picked up at 219 Artisan Market at 329 West 5th in Clifton.

About the Clifton Civic Improvement Society

The Clifton Civic Improvement Society is the longest-running non-profit organization that serves the Clifton community.

Funds raised by the society’s annual turkey dinner in November go toward local improvements to the community as well as scholarships to women for their continuing education.

The society has donated funds to such organizations as the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department and the Nellie Pederson Civic Library in Clifton.

The Clifton Civic Improvement Society meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 2 p.m. at the Clifton Civic Center. Visitors are welcome to attend.
