Jagger Monroe, a FFA member from Iredell, captured Champion Spotted Gilt in the Open Swine Show during the 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR).

The 2024 show hosted exhibitors from across America competing for awards and premiums, including $7,200 in Open Swine Show premiums.

These competitions serve as an outstanding platform to highlight the work necessary to develop genetics that produce safe and nutritious meat and dairy products the world needs.

The FWSSR provides these opportunities through open livestock shows for cattle, swine, sheep, goats, and poultry.

Exhibitors from across the nation put their livestock to the test, competing to produce an animal of the highest quality.

Auctions hosted by the Stock Show also give livestock producers a marketplace to purchase the genetics needed to improve their herds and flocks.

“The Stock Show has become a gathering place for some of the finest livestock in the world,” Stock Show President Brad Barnes said. “We are committed to seeing that continue and to providing a one-of-a-kind experience to our exhibitors when it comes to quality competition and pure Texas hospitality.”

The 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo ran from January 12 - February 3, 2024.

With the theme where the “West Is Fun,” the event featured authentic western vibe including rodeo in the amazing Dickies Arena, tantalizing food, shopping, livestock shows, live music, carnivalmidway, equestrian competitions, petting zoo, and much more.

Visit www.fwssr.com to make plans for a legendary good time at the 128th edition of the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, from January 17 - February 8, 2025.
