    The 220th Judicial District Court recently re-appointed Jesse Jobes as the Bosque County auditor.

    The Bosque County Commissioners Court approved receiving and filing the District Court’s order for Jobes’ re-appointment during its regular meeting on Monday, March 11, at the Bosque County Courthouse in Meridian.

    The court also approved receiving and filing the statement, oath of office, and bond of Jobes.

    The commissioners court approved the February 2024 monthly reports from the Bosque County Texas Agrilife Extension Agents, the Bosque County Attorney Natalie Koehler, Bosque County Clerk Tab Ferguson, District Clerk Juanita Miller, Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 Michele Valdez,andOSSFClerkWynn Moore.

    Usual business

    The court approved the payment of claims, salaries, and wages against county and precinct funds.

    The court approved extending the COVID-19 Declaration of Local Disaster issued by the county judge, pursuant to Chapter 418 of the Government Code for another seven days.
