2nd annual Meridian Alumni softball tournament set April 6

The Second Annual Meridian Alumni Softball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, April 6, from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This event is benefitting Meridian High School Baseball and Softball and also Meridian Youth Baseball and Softball Association.

We have raffle items and silent auction items to raise money for these great groups.

The tournament’s sponsors include Cannon Pits and Fabrication, Meridian Locker Plant, Stacked M Leather, Bosque River Firearms, BMC Construction LLC, Navarro Mills Marina, Hadley Anne Photography, Top Hand Gutters, and First Baptist Church of Fruitvale, Texas.

The alumni group’s mission is to build the love of baseball and softball in kids from elementary, all the way to high school so that Meridian athletes can excel at all levels of the sport, and know that their community is behind them all the way.

This year we have twice the number registered from last year, so support is growing year to year. We hope to continue this event on the same weekend for many years to come!
