NCBC to hosts first-ever casino night fundraiser this Saturday, June 22

Join the National Championship Barbecue Cookoff for a night of excitement and entertainment at its inaugural Casino Night!

This highly anticipated event promises to be a thrilling blend of gaming, gourmet dining, and fantastic prizes, all set to take place on Saturday, June 22, at the Meridian Civic Center at 309West River Street in Meridian.

Start time

The festivities will kick off with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., providing guests the perfect opportunity to mingle, enjoy appetizers, and prepare for the night ahead.

Dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m., featuring a delectable steak dinner complemented by beer and wine, ensuring everyone is well-fueled for the evening's activities.

Games

At 7 p.m., the casino will open its doors, inviting guests to try their luck at a variety of classic games. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a novice, there’s something for everyone:

• Roulette: Spin the wheel and see if luck is on your side.

•Craps:Rollthediceandaim for the winning combination.

• Blackjack: With four tables available, there’s plenty of room for everyone to hit 21.

• Bingo:Afun and engaging game for all ages and skill levels.

Each ticket includes a voucher for $1,000 in “Funny Money” to get you started. If you run out, don’t worry— additional vouchers can be purchased for $20 each, allowing you to continue playing and boosting your chances of winning big.

Raffle

Every $1,000 in “winnings” can be exchanged for one raffle ticket, giving players multiple opportunities to win a variety of fantastic prizes. The raffle will feature an array of items, including a 65” TV, wine and whiskey baskets, cakes, coolers, meat baskets, and much more.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Following the raffle, all tickets will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a chance to win $1,000 in cash!

With two chances to win— once in the raffles and once in the grand prize drawing—the more you play, the better your odds.
