Enter 4th of July decorating contest by June 27: Meridian Chamber

The Meridian Chamber of Commerce will be holding a 4th of July decorating contest this year.

The deadline to enter is 12 p.m. noon on Wednesday, June 26.

The judging for the contest will take place on Thursday, June 27. The winner will be announced on the Chamber’s website and Facebook page.

The judging will be based on the entry’s overall appearance. Winners will receive a sign to display at their business and a complimentary chamber membership.

Entry forms can be found at the Meridian Chamber of Commerce’s office located inside Meridian City Hall.

The information needed on the forms includes your name, address, and telephone number.

Entries may be mailed, emailed or delivered to the Chamber office.

All entries must be received by noon on Wednesday, June 26, so that the Chamber members can plan the judging route.

Enter today, decorate the town, and show the Meridian patriotic spirit,” Teresa McMahon, Meridian Chamber of Commerce executive director said.

About the Chamber

The mission of the Meridian Chamber of Commerce is to promote expansion and growth of local businesses through commerce and tourism and to partner with other local organizations to promote civic programs designed to increase civic pride in the community to make Meridian a great place to live, work and play.

The chamber hosts a regular luncheon with guest speakers on the second Thursday of the month at the Senior Center located at 201 North Main Street in Meridian.

The chamber’s annual membership renewal period is in December. Dues are prorated for new members who join later in the year.

The chamber’s office is located at 111 North Main Street in historic downtown Meridian. Its office hours are Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
