2 dead, multiple injured in shooting early Sunday morning
Champaign — Two people are dead and several others injured in a shooting that happened early Sunday morning. Champaign police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Cynthia Drive around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting with injuries. On arrival, police and fire personnel worked to render immediate medical aid until patients could be transferred to an area hospital.
