(KNSI) – Time at the lake, grilling, and fireworks are staples of Independence Day here in Minnesota. The federal holiday also comes with disruptions. The United States Postal Service will not be making deliveries. All federal departments and courts, as well as state government services, are closed. Area cities have already alerted people that municipal offices will also take the day off.
