Nonprofit’s efforts to buy State Theatre catch AG’s attention
BAY CITY, Mich. (WNEM) – A mid-Michigan nonprofit’s push to buy the State Theatre in Bay City has attracted the eyes of the state Attorney General’s (AG) office. The nonprofit State Theatre Great Lakes Bay Region is trying to raise money to buy the bankrupt theatre, which has an asking price of $483,000.
